Our Lion MED NanoProtect SilverMask with a pocket for hydrophobic filters with active nano-silver molecules is a face mask carefully manufactured of polyester yarn with the addition of elastane that makes the mask perfectly adapt to the anatomical shape of the face. Our protective mask tightly wraps around the upper respiratory tract minimizing the risk of infection due to the antimicrobial properties of the LionMED replaceable nano-silver filter. The pocket allows the use of an enclosed double-layer filter made of non-woven fabric protected with antibacterial and hydrophobic agent by using, among other things, silver ions, which limit the proliferation of microbiom captured from the air during filtration. The filters used in the technological process are sterilized in 200 degrees Celsius, and the reusable mask itself is adapted to steam sterilization or washing in 95 degrees Celsius, thus enabling the mask to be kept as clean as possible.

LionMED filter insert It is a non-woven fabric designed to maintain cleanliness, hygiene and resistance to the bacteria that surround us every day. The non-woven fabric has been impregnated with a special antibacterial and hydrophobic agent.
Contains silver ions, which control the bacteria in a three-step process. The anti-microbial finishing of the non-woven fabric with a nano-silver-based agent prevents uncontrolled growth of bacteria on its surface. Silver nano-particles have bactericidal and fungicidal properties. The natural balance of the bacterial flora on the skin is not affected. The finishing used is a non-migratory antibacterial agent. In other words, it acts on the product without establishing inhibitory areas (according to the Agar-Diffusionsplattentest (SN 195 920). To increase the level of safety against bacteria transmitted
by droplets, the non-woven fabric is equipped with an additional hydrophobic coating, which inhibits the penetration of liquids inside the fabric structure. If necessary, silver ions are released in moisture, which prevents further growth of bacterial cells in order to protect our health.
How it works?
Silver nano-particles are capable of killing microorganisms and are therefore currently used in the production of modern sanitizers. Nanosilver is an effective destructive agent against a wide spectrum of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, not excluding antibiotic-resistant species.
But how does nanosilver kill microorganisms?
It's because silver has a strong positive charge, which means it can literally search for pathogens. This is a feature that the antibiotics used so far have not had. Silver nano-particles do not have to rely on accidental contact with a cell of a pathogenic organism. It destroys the hostile cell by oxidation.

About
Who are we?
Lion Textile (owner of the LionMED brand) was founded in 2012 by its current owner, a passionate textile specialist. Currently, it has two production plants including its own sewing room, cutting room and textile printing house specializing in technical and clothing textiles. The origins of the factory were related to the production of textile advertising media, and during the years of development, the range of products was gradually extended to include promotional, corporate, uniformed and functional clothing, as well as technical non-clothing textile solutions. Currently, in addition to the above mentioned assortment, we are introducing new products, mainly in the category of technical and utility textiles, which can be found in store chains all over Poland. We cooperate with organizations such as the Polish Textile Association, of which we have been an active supporting member since 2014, and other foundations and organizations that work for the development of our local and national economy.
